The live room gets a full acoustic refit ahead of scoring season

Deepend Studios

Eight months of work return the 400-seat scoring stage to variable-acoustics condition, with a rebuilt isolation shell and a new monitoring environment.

The 400-seat live room at Deepend Studios has completed an eight-month acoustic refit and returns to service this month.

The work rebuilt the isolation shell, replaced the variable-acoustics treatment, and rebuilt the monitoring environment from the floor up. The room now returns to a usable state between an orchestra session and an electronic one in under twenty minutes.

Deepend Audio Studio will run scoring sessions from the room for the first time since the refit began. Composers working in picture on Deepend Movies' next two productions are already booked in.

The room remains available through Deepend Studio Rentals for external sessions on a day or week basis.
